I just got out of Disney’s Snow White (2025), and let me tell you—I went in skeptical, but I left enchanted. This reimagining walks the fine line between honoring the 1937 animated classic and giving us something fresh, and for the most part, it succeeds beautifully.
Rachel Zegler brings warmth, courage, and an endearing determination to Snow White. Gone is the passive princess waiting for a prince; instead, we get a heroine with dreams, agency, and a voice that shines—literally and figuratively. Gal Gadot as the Evil Queen? PERFECTION. She’s mesmerizing, deliciously wicked, and brings an elegance to the role that makes her one of the best Disney villains in recent memory.
Visually, the film is stunning, blending that classic fairy-tale aesthetic with breathtaking modern cinematography. And the music? The updated score weaves in nostalgic themes while introducing new melodies that will have you humming long after the credits roll. If you’re a Disney purist, you might side-eye some of the changes, but if you’re open to a fresh take on the story, this Snow White is pure magic.
