Coastal Heat

Beach Secrets:
coastal heat

They promised no strings. The tide had other plans.

Mason Holt came to Uruguay to disappear—he booked a last-minute coastal rental with no Wi-Fi, no plans, and no one to answer to. But on his first morning, a wave of sea spray and sarcasm crashes into him in the form of Tomas Varela, a local dive instructor with a cocky grin and zero respect for personal space.

Mason isn’t interested in flings. Tomas doesn’t do attachments. But on this lonely stretch of wild coastline, one spark is all it takes to start a fire. What begins as irritation turns into heat—and heat into something much harder to walk away from.

A Strange Connection

It was meant to be a quiet time for Mason to reflect and recharge, but Tomas wasn’t prepared to allow him to wallow, so he tried everything possible to push him out of his comfort zone. Tomas finally convinced Mason to join him on a few adventures, which led to a near fatal incident, but it also turned into one mind blowing and memorable night together. Even though, Mason was apprehensive about embarking on a relationship due his insecurities, but he felt a pull towards Tomas when it was time to leave.

Fortunately, Tomas was ecstatic when he found out Mason was going give them a chance at having a life together. You will absolutely enjoy reading this entertaining romance story about finding love in an unexpected way and you will definitely have fun reading this book.

Mason & Tomas

I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book. This book is part of the Private Encounters MM short stories collection. Each book is a standalone romance. Mason was just looking for an escape from reality. Just wanting to be left alone in his solitude. However, Tomas, the local dive instructor plants himself right in his way and in his personal space. This book had some good spice. Really liked this one.

let’s go to the beach and fall in love

Really loved this! The raw tension (so palpable, btw) and the way Mason finally gave in were so beautifully written. This might be my favorite work I’ve read from Ryan so far. He really did an amazing job with this one!

And of course, the beach setting also did it for me. <333
