When paramedic Cole and his partner Nate are called to a traffic accident he wasn’t expecting to find someone who would make not only his Christmas less lonely, but would allow him to relinquish control just for a moment. When travelling musician Jason Brookes escapes a Christmas Eve party and heads out into the snowy night he little thought he would meet someone who was just as lonely as he was. When his car slides into a ditch, and he injures his ribs, he dials 911. Cole is on his way to taking Jason to hospital to be checked over when they become stranded due to a snow slide and end up in a rangers cabin. Although they are together for a short time there is the hope that this could be the beginnings of more than a medic/patient meeting.
