This was such a fun and emotional read! I loved how the story brought together two very different people: Leandro, who’s serious and loves order, and Luca, who’s full of charm and chaos. Their arguments were fiery, their chemistry was off the charts, and watching them slowly let down their walls was so satisfying. The Italy setting made everything feel extra romantic, and I felt like I was right there with them.
I’m Filipino, so I loved seeing the representation within Leandro here! I also thought them arguing with each other in their own languages was cute and funny, especially since I could understand what Leandro was saying even without the translations.
Something that really stood out to me was how /real/ both characters felt. Leandro’s struggle with control and identity, and Luca’s battle with family pressure, made their connection deeper than just attraction. Their banter was sharp but funny, and the emotional moments were written so honestly. By the end, I truly believed they belonged together—and that’s what made the romance feel so rewarding.
The pacing was just right, and the mix of heat, emotion, and humor kept me turning the pages. Moore outdid himself with this one. If you enjoy opposites-attract stories with heart, spice, and a bit of cultural clash, this book is definitely worth reading. I’ll be thinking about Leandro and Luca for a long time!
