Gabriel’s work was all about precision, as he didn’t like any deviations from his plans without consultation, which sometimes caused frustration for people working with him. Jake on the other hand didn’t mind cutting corners, which led to him butting heads with Gabriel whilst they were working together. Jake did everything possible to push Gabriel out of his stoic mood and he was successful for a short while, where the dynamics of their relationship changed.
Unfortunately, Gabriel and Jake’s budding romance ended because of a betrayed he never expected and this led to a change in his life. This was a deeply moving story about true friendship, taking chances on love, betrayal and heartbreak. This slow build romance story is filled with some emotional and steamy moments, a bit of drama and the right amount of angst to keep you glued to the pages from the beginning until the end.
