Think about the things you enjoy about Cinderella – the mystery of a ball, the immediate attraction to an anonymous person, the quick escape and search. Then, mix in what you love about the relationship between Jane Eyre and Mr. Rochester – their easy banter, Jane’s directness with him and his delight in finding someone who isn’t intimidated by him, as Jane says, “an equal”. That’s what I found in this quick read story by Ryan Moore. It may not take long to read, but Moore knows how to set a scene and draw you in from the very first with questions you just have to have the answers to. Logan and Grayson are a couple on fire from the beginning and I could not put this down. I loved the seamless way he shifts point of view between the two of them so you are never at a loss for how both are feeling. Seeing how Logan finds Grayson, their confrontation and the deal they make at the end was intense and delightful. I certainly hope Ryan Moore has more to tell us about these two, and soon.
