Kit the owner of a beach cafe, has a lot of emotional baggage that keeps him walled off and hesitant to trust. His resistance adds depth to the romance, creating a slow burn tension that balances Blake’s eager vulnerability. As the story unfolds, Kit’s internal struggle becomes a compelling part of the narrative his journey toward letting someone in feels earned and satisfying.

His Unexpected Adventure

This is an excellent story with the feel-good factor in abundance, that I believe is well worth reading. I really enjoyed reading this book with a great cast of characters, a bit of steaminess and the right amount of drama to keep you entertained. I mostly liked this story. I wish there was more romance or them getting to know each other. I needed more. And the last page confused me. It was quiet and sweet in some places but there should’ve been more.
