Weekend Wrap: Capitol Hill Café & Bookshop Day ☕
During the weekend, I stayed close to home and spent the day wandering through Capitol Hill — drifting between cafés and bookshops, chasing that quiet rhythm the neighborhood does so well. I started with a strong cup of coffee and a window seat, watching the city move past in soft, early-spring light. There’s something about this time of year in Seattle — the air still cool, but lighter somehow, like the city is beginning to wake up again.
From there, I slipped into a few bookstores, running my fingers along spines, picking up stories at random, reading first pages that felt like invitations. I didn’t rush. I let the day unfold the way good stories do — slowly, intentionally. By the time I headed home, I had a new book tucked under my arm and that familiar feeling of creative restlessness — the kind that makes you want to sit down and write.
