This weekend, I traded the city noise for birdsong and salt air at Discovery Park. The 2.8-mile loop trail gave me a much-needed dose of serenity—winding through quiet woods, open meadows, and coastal bluffs with sweeping views of Puget Sound.
The sunshine felt like a quiet celebration of spring, with wildflowers popping in subtle bursts and the breeze carrying the scent of fresh growth. It’s incredible how just twenty minutes from downtown, you can be someplace that feels like a world away. Sometimes, stillness is the adventure—and this walk was exactly what I needed. 🌲🌊
