During the weekend, I bundled up against the chills of a December evening and made the short drive up to Shoreline for the ShoreLights Winter Light Display at the Park at Town Center, a free holiday lights experience glowing with color and community spirit. The air was brisk and crisp, but the lights themselves danced with warmth — archways of twinkling bulbs, illuminated trees, and bursts of vibrant seasonal displays that turned the sidewalk into a winter fairytale.
I walked slowly, letting the glow guide me, savoring the contrast between Seattle’s early winter darkness and the brilliant artistry of each installation.
