This weekend, I traded screen time for paddles and took to Lake Union with Alex in tow — his ears flopping in the breeze and his nose twitching at every ripple and duck.
Gliding past Gas Works Park and floating homes, it felt like entering a slower world, one where the city hums quietly in the background while the water carries you forward. We paused under the shadow of the Space Needle and watched a floatplane take off, its reflection stretching across the lake like a story in motion. 🛶
